Battles – Part 1 of 8
We hear of battles around the world – wars, rumors of wars. Man is never satisfied in his obsession for gaining more and there is never peace on earth. But while men are fighting amongst themselves, there is a bigger war happening in the heavens. The enemy of our souls (satan) and his fallen angels (demons) are waging war against us constantly to make us sin and go astray. On God’s side there are legions of angels battling for us against satan’s attacks.
Trees & Streams
When we delight ourselves in the law of the LORD, we are like a tree planted just next to a stream that gets fed day and night and bears much fruit. All God wants us to do is to delight in the Law of the LORD. He knows we are not perfect and we can never live up to 100% all of His laws.
All Things New
As we enter into this new year, we have a chance to create new resolutions, make new promises to ourselves, create new goals in life and work, and make some new friends. With all of this “new” stuff top of mind, I thought it would be apropos to mention that the creator of all things also has a plan to make all things new.
A Look At Grace
Grace — What is it? Simply explained, it is God’s free gift to us of eternal life, even though we do not deserve it. It is receiving the gift of salvation that we do not deserve, nor could we ever earn in a million lifetimes. God grants to us Grace when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
Being Still In Times of Trouble
There is no circumstance that God cannot handle. There is nothing that life can throw at us that God is unable to be our refuge and strength. There is nothing that takes God by surprise.
The Master Plan
We all make plans for our lives. We all try to follow a life plan and it is good to plan ahead. But when it comes to planning, God has the master plan for all of humanity. He started His plans before the world was formed.
A Living Example — It’s In The Little Things
One of the biggest blessings we receive in this life is to bless and encourage others — be a living example. The Bible tells us that it is a greater blessing to give rather than to receive.
