Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6

Feed On His Faithfulness
If you feel the burden of life bearing down on you and people around you are prospering when you are not, be confident in knowing that God is in control, His timing is perfect and in the end, everyone gets what is well deserved.
Faith
As we encounter each day, God calls us to walk by faith and not by sight. It is difficult to do in our human minds — trying to get out of your own head sometimes can be rather impossible. But as we focus on God and His Word, it gets easier. God gives us many many versus throughout the Bible that encourage us and help us along so that we can get our minds and our hearts right.
Plans, Paths & Future
God has a specific plan for all of us. As we follow His word and listen for His still small voice in our everyday walk, He directs us so that we are guided down the path that He has for our lives. When we begin to stray a little off of the path, as Psalm 18:36 says, He will be faithful to us and enlarge or widen our path so that we do not slip.
Heart Knowledge
When we KNOW God, it is not just head knowledge, but heart knowledge. There are many people that claim to know God, but they merely know of God, not really having the convictions of following His word and having a personal relationship with Him. If you think about the Pharisees in the Bible, they claimed to be followers of God and yet Jesus, on several occasions, called them out saying He never knew them. These were the religious leaders, how could this be true? They had the head knowledge of memorized scriptures, rituals and customs, but they did not have a true heart change that transformed their lives as a true believer and follower of God.
Unshakable
The Apostle Paul wrote in Hebrews 12, “Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.” As Christian believers, we serve a God that is unshakable and we, as His children then, are also unshakable through His love and mercy.
Effectual Fervent Prayer
As Bon Jovi sings, we are living on a prayer. But what exactly does effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man mean? Simply put, the prayer of a person who is “after God’s own heart” will do wonders. Loving the Lord with all of our heart, soul and mind and wanting and waiting for His will in our lives puts us in right standing with Him .
You Are God’s Masterpiece
Renewing our minds is not something that is instantaneous. I once read an analogy that talks about how Michelangelo sculpted, it wasn’t about forming a block of marble, but about finding the work of art hidden beneath by removal of parts. Sometimes he worked at the task of removing chunks of marble with a heavy mallet and a hard blow and a broad chisel, removing large masses. Other times with fine tools and delicate touches, he removed a grain or two of powdered dust from the sparkling block. He eventually finished with the perfect sculpture finding that work of art that was hidden beneath the surface.
Is It A Coincidence? Hmmmm
God is masterfully at work in all of our lives to lead us and guide us and put people in our pathways. I truly believe there are no coincidences when we are walking with the integrity and uprightness of God. He tells us in Romans that He works all things together for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. So how could anything we do be a coincidence?
We Are Dusted…
The God of the Universe, who created the heavens and the earth, knows us. He created us from dust and he knows the frailty of human life. He knows our innermost thoughts, our intentions, our love, our joys and laughter, our sadness, our stresses and our peace. He knows everything about us and can relate to our humanity because The Lord Jesus Himself stepped down from heaven and became a man so that He could die for our sins.
Lumps of Clay – Sitting and Spinning
It is not up to the clay. All the clay can do is sit and spin. The clay is fully dependent on the potter’s hands to make it into what it will become. So therefore, we need to understand that it is not by our might, nor by our power, but by The Spirit of The Lord that we accomplish anything in our lives.
Plenty of Water
God who created everything, including us with His exhaust-less resources, gives us the confidence that He will take care of us and be our loving provider. He gives us breath each day, the sunshine to light the earth and the natural resources around us that we all use every day.
What’s Your Spark
Each of us are able to use our gifts and talents so that we might set ablaze the hearts of those around us. The spark might just be a small gesture like; doing a good deed, saying a kind word, giving of your time, helping a neighbor, delivering food to someone that is sick, and many others.
