2 Samuel 22:29-30 NLT
O LORD, you are my lamp. The LORD lights up my darkness. [30] In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.
Good Morning!
When you read the above verse, it says “with my God I can scale a wall.” I picture in my mind someone climbing the wall like Spider Man – LOL!! But seriously, God tells us we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 NKJV
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
So we really do have a super power. It is Christ. He is able when we are not. He is for us when the world is against us. The power of His sacrifice for us allows us to walk in freedom of sin and makes the devil powerless against us. So our super power comes from above. When we use our weapons of warfare against the devil (prayer, knowing God’s Word and putting on the armor of God daily), we are powered up to do all things for Christ who strengthens us.
We are God’s beloved and he give us the power of Christ in us. When we pray, according to His will, He will not hold back any good thing and give us the desires of our heart.
John 15:7 NKJV
[7] If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
Additionally, God gives us individual super powers called the Gifts of the Spirit. We are to use our gifts to fight the biggest super villain of all time — satan. When we fight the good fight and keep the faith, God will reward us all with a crown of righteousness, the ultimate reward for His faithful ones.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 NKJV
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Be blessed today knowing you have super powers!
I love you and am praying for you today!
