Good Morning!
As followers of Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, we have a peace within us that is ours for eternity — we have God on our side! There’s no thing or person that can take that away from us. We can walk each day knowing that nothing can separate us from God’s love and He is always on our side. He knows everything about us, even how many hairs (or lack of in my case) are on our heads. He knows our deepest fears, worries and knows our most joyous occasions in life. He loves it when we celebrate and are thankful to Him for His blessings. He loves when we devote time to Him to pray, speaking our hearts to Him and reading His Word that gives us instructions for life. Even still, He loves us equally when we are not obedient to Him and sin. Nothing can separate us from His love!
Matthew 10:30 NKJV
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Romans 5:8 NKJV
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God is for us. God loves His beloved followers and extends grace to His flock. We are His sheep and He is our Good Shepherd. We are precious to Him, so much that He will leave His flock to find the one sheep that wandered away and will celebrate finding that one lost sheep. He knows our desires, our thoughts, our dreams, our fears and our worries. He also knows our future and what is best for us.
As our Good Shepherd, we need to follow Him and remain in Him as part of His flock. In doing this, we set ourselves up for success, according to God’s perspective. God’s success is not what men think of success. His success runs deeper than material things. His success has eternal perspective. We should all ask God to give us the eyes to see from His perspective.
The closer we draw to Him and the more we pray and seek His will for our lives, He will reveal His perspective to us so that we can have success by His standards and not the world’s. He is on our side and will never be against us. Nothing can separate us from His love. He will guide us as our Good Shepherd to our eternal success.
Today, take a few minutes to just ask God what success looks like for your life from His perspective. Let Him begin to reveal His plan for you day-by-day as you draw closer and closer to Him. He has a plan for all of our lives, no matter how young or how old. As long as we have breath in our lungs, we should “Go and Bear Fruit!”
I love you and am praying for you today!
