Good Morning!
We hear of battles around the world of wars and rumors of wars. Man is never satisfied in his obsession for gaining more and there is never peace on earth. But while men are fighting among themselves, there is a bigger war happening in the heavens. The enemy of our souls (satan) and his fallen angels (demons) are waging war against us constantly to make us sin and go astray. On God’s side there are legions of angels battling for us against satan’s attacks.
Ephesians tells us to be ready for these spiritual battles by putting on the Full Armor of God daily. In this way we are prepared for the battle when satan tries to trip us up. These are the weapons:
– The Belt of Truth: To stand firm in the Word of God
– The Breastplate of Righteousness: To protect from the evils of the world
– The Shoes of Peace: The Good News
– The Shield of Faith: To Stop the fiery arrows the devil tries to throw at you
– The Helmet of Salvation: Our hope in Christ Jesus
– The Sword of The Spirit: The Word of God
Study the below scriptures to really take in what God instructs us to do to prepare for battle daily and know that God is for us and He is stronger than the enemy and He fights our battles. In the next 7 days, we’ll study this much more in-depth.

Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT
[10] A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. [11] Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. [12] For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. [13] Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. [6] Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NLT
[3] We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. [4] We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. [5] We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
Deuteronomy 20:4 NKJV
[4] for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
