Good Morning!
There was a time in my life when I thought sushi was disgusting. Then about 20 years ago, a friend of mine took me to a sushi restaurant for lunch and begged me to try it. He finally wore me down and so I did. Don’t you know, I thought it was delicious. I had just never tasted to see if I would like it because I thought raw fish was gross. But now, it is one of my favorite meals.
Many people live there lives ignoring the fact that we have a God that loves us and He just stands at the door to our hearts knocking but they never answer. They have never “tasted” what it is like to live in the freedom of Christ, walk in forgiveness, and live a joyful and hopeful life. They think that the way of the world is better, just like I thought sushi was gross. Once we experience the love of God, we quickly realize how much better life is with Him. I honestly don’t know how people do life without the hope of Christ. Without Him as our Savior, guide in life, and knowing that we have more in the next life, this life would just seem hopeless.
Today, don’t be ashamed to share what you have tasted and see others experience how good life can be and give them hope too!
