Genesis 2:7 NKJV
[7] And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Psalm 103:14 NKJV
[14] For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

Good Morning!
The God of the Universe, who created the heavens and the earth, knows us. He created us from dust and he knows the frailty of human life. He knows our innermost thoughts, our intentions, our love, our joys and laughter, our sadness, our stresses and our peace. He knows everything about us and can relate to our humanity because The Lord Jesus Himself stepped down from heaven and became a man so that He could die for our sins.

The most important thing that God knows about us is our heart. We, as mere humans, cannot be perfect no matter how hard we try. But God does not call us to perfect, He calls us to give our hearts to Him. He can work with anyone that is “after His own heart” and wants to do His will. So that means you don’t have to be special or chosen or formally trained in ministry because He calls us all His special and chosen people when we are living for Him.

1 Samuel 13:14a NKJV
…The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart…

1 Peter 2:9-10 NKJV
[9] But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; [10] who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

God knows all things as 1 John 3:20 says, “For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.” So even when we, in our own heart, are feeling self-pity, guilt, or unforgiveness, God is Greater than our hearts. We can stand on His word that we are forgiven and can live in the freedom of His mercy and grace. He made us. He knows we are from dust. He knows our frame. He knows our minds and hearts. He forgives us when we truly come to Him with a repentant heart and He remembers our sins no more.

Hebrews 4:16 NKJV
[16] Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 8:12 NKJV
[12] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

So what does all of this mean? A short and sweet summary of the Bible:
The true message of the Bible is not a complicated one. Through the many pages of the Bible, the overriding message is to Love God and Love People. When we do these two things wholeheartedly, then everything else falls into place. So simple, yet man likes to complicate everything with all of his world religions, rituals, idols and ceremonies. None of these things are what God’s heart desires. He only desires a faithful and true heart that loves Him. For those that truly do, God answers all of His thousands of promises to us with Yes and Amen. So yes, we are dusted, but that is okay because God knows who we are in Him and even though our hearts can condemn us, He has overcome sin and death so that we can have eternal life. We can stand on His word and His promises daily and have security in everlasting life. This doesn’t only mean the afterlife, but starting now, today, we can live in the freedom of Christ through His mercy and Grace and have the promises of God fulfilled in our lives through His will for us.

2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV
[20] For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Yes and Amen. That is the Good News of God. Let us walk today as men and women after God’s own heart. We can be secure in knowing we are just dust, yet created in God’s own image. We can live as His children in 100% freedom and victory standing on all of His promises.

I love you and am praying for you today!
Dad
