2 Chronicles 16:9a TLB
[9] For the eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them…
Good Morning!
God is watchful of His entire creation. He sees and knows all things. He looks for those that seek His will and desires us all to have a deeper relationship with Him, showing His great power in helping and guiding them.
Job 34:21 NLT
[21] “For God watches how people live; he sees everything they do.
You’ve heard people say about someone’s child that they have their father’s eyes. This is a physical trait, that shows physical characteristics. We, as followers of Christ, should seek to have our Heavenly Father’s eyes, meaning we should want to have the character of God within us, seeking to do His heart and will, and seeing people through the lens of a loving Heavenly Father. We can never see things the way God does. But the more we draw closer to Him, the more He gives us love and compassion for others. God loves everyone as should we.
Jeremiah 32:19 NKJV
[19] You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.
Fruit of our doings? What does that mean? Well, Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:16 that “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?” So if the fruit of our lives are even evident to others around us, how much more does God know the fruit of our lives? Let our fruit always be sweet, ripe and not only look good, but taste good. Have you ever bitten into an apple that looks really good, only to find out that it is mealy and tasteless? Our fruit is seen by God as He watches over our lives. Let it be worthy and good to Him.
Proverbs 15:3 NKJV
[3] The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.
As we pray and read His Word, God’s wisdom penetrates our hearts and minds. When we are seeking God’s will for our lives, God answers and instructs us in our ways, guiding us with His eye, giving us wisdom and guidance daily. This is a promise of God that we can have confidence in.
Psalm 32:8 NKJV
[8] I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
God watches over those who love Him and follow Him. He protects us and rescues us in our times of trouble. He gives us strength when we are weak and shows us a way through the difficult times in our lives, even when there appears to be no pathway — He provides a pathway that no one knew was there.
Psalm 33:18-19 NLT
[18] But the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. [19] He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.
Psalm 77:19 NLT
[19] Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters- a pathway no one knew was there!
God is good. God loves His children. He is always watching over us. He rescues us and delivers us in times of trouble. He guides us into paths of righteousness and wants us to lead a life that produces good fruit for His kingdom. He will always be with us and never forsake us with His ever loving eyes upon us.
I love you and am praying for you today!
